A Caution For Members

According to Google, "phishing" is the act of tricking someone into providing confidential information, or tricking them into doing something that they normally wouldn’t do or shouldn’t do. For example: sending an e-mail to a user falsely claiming to be an established legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft.

Although this has not yet happened, as ClubExpress gets bigger and more well-known, we may become a target of such phishing attacks. And by extension, your club web sites may be the ones phished!

Please remind your members that your web site and ClubExpress will never ask them for credit card or other private information via email.

If they ever have doubts, they should go to your club web site by entering the URL directly into a browser and not by clicking the link in an email.

If a fraudulent email appears, it should be forwarded to support@clubexpress.com
